Tattoo Regret? We can help.
Tattoo regret is most commonly due to having an ex’s name, misspellings, and spur of the moment tattoos. Fortunately, tattoo removal is not only possible, but also safe and effective. I am extremely experienced in removing tattoos and have personally been performing laser tattoo removal since the late nineties.
Laser tattoo removal works from lasers that emit a light energy that pulses so quickly it absorbs the ink. During your appointment, we will utilize topical or injectable numbing to minimize any discomfort. Please be advised that multiple treatments are typically required to receive the desired effect.
The biggest improvement in laser tattoo removal has been the availability of picosecond lasers. These lasers deliver energy in shorter pulses in order to maximize the breakdown of the tattoo ink, resulting in fewer treatments than traditional devices. With picosecond lasers, you can expect a quick healing process. The devices are not widely available as they are more costly than the older devices, and we are proud to have replaced our workhorse laser with the new, high tech PicoWay laser.
PicoWay is a remarkably innovative multi-wavelength picosecond laser that enables removal of multi-colored tattoos on any skin type. This laser emits bursts of energy that creates a photo-mechanical impact, breaking up the tattoo ink or pigmentation into smaller, more easily eliminated particles. For a more efficient removal process, don’t hesitate to visit our office.
